FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
Is this a trading bot that makes money for me?
No. It is professional software to research, test and run your own strategies. Results depend on your
strategies and the market, and you can lose money.
Do you hold my exchange keys or funds?
No. Aurexion runs on your machine. Your keys are stored there and never sent to us, and your funds stay on your
exchange account.
Do you see my strategies or my trades?
No. Everything runs on your machine or server, and we run no service that receives your strategies,
results, trades or keys. Before launch we publish the full list of every connection the app makes.
Which exchanges?
Bybit perpetual futures for live trading today. Hyperliquid and Kraken are next, then OKX. Rithmic for CME
futures is planned.
Can I use it in my country?
Aurexion is software you run yourself, with your own exchange keys. What you trade with it, and whether you are
allowed to trade it where you live, is entirely your decision and your responsibility. Some exchanges do not
serve some countries (Bybit does not serve the US, for example). Check that you may use one of the supported
exchanges before you buy a licence.
Which systems does it run on?
Linux today, including servers without a screen. On Windows it runs through WSL2, with a setup guide at launch. Mac is not supported yet.
Do I need to code?
No. The assistant can write strategies for you, in readable C# you can test, change and keep. If you do code,
C# gives you full control.
Which AI model does the assistant use?
Your own: a local model on your machine, or your own API key with a provider you choose. With a local model,
nothing about your strategies leaves your machine.
How accurate are the backtests?
Fills are simulated on 1-second bars built from real trades, with no look-ahead. If the market gaps through a
stop, the backtest fills at the gap price, then applies simulated slippage and spread. A backtest is still a simulation.
What happens to my positions if my internet or computer goes down?
They stay protected. The stop-loss and take-profit rest at the exchange, sent with the entry itself, so they
work whether or not your machine is on.
Is it safe?
It is designed around explicit execution rules: no naked positions, protective orders at the exchange, and portfolio limits that only
ever make positions smaller. But no software can be guaranteed perfect, and your strategy's own decisions (its
size, where it puts its stop, how often it trades) are yours. Start on your exchange's demo account, then go
live small.
Can I run it on a server?
Yes. The engine is native Linux and runs without a screen.
How do you make money?
From licences only. No share of your trading fees, no exchange referral income, no fee on your orders, no data
sold. See what we will never do.
When does it launch?
The first release will be a founding beta: the first 30 buyers, at the founding price. There is nothing to sign up for. General sale
follows once the beta's findings are fixed.
Who is behind Aurexion? Is it one person?
Yes: Sebastian, a trader of ten years with an MSc in Information Technology and ten years as a senior developer
and sysadmin/DevOps engineer. Being one person means you talk to the person who wrote the engine. And your work
never depends on us: the system runs on your machine, your strategies are your own C# source files, and your
data and results are files on your disk. More about me.
